The first step out of learn-to-skate classes, our Bronze Club level is the stepping stone into our club and to artistic roller skating. Your child will join peers within their age group to learn the more technical aspects of artistic skating which will include basic turns, spins and jumps, and even perform to their own choreographed skating routines (similar to what you would see ice skaters perform, but on wheels!).
Your child will receive one (1) private lesson each week (20 minutes) as well as participate in club practices and workshops to sharpen their skills. We also have workshops most Saturdays which include an emphasis on physical fitness and skating fundamentals. We conduct open practices multiple days during the week. Your child may come and go as they please on the available days to practice (up to 3 days per week, subject to availability). It is recommended that your child attends practice at least two days per week (the private lesson may be taken during a practice day – please coordinate with your child’s coach to schedule).
When the time is right, your child will be eligible to compete against other skaters in their age group by entering in local competitions within the state of Florida.
